Lasoliton was founded in 2024 with the goal of researching and developing world-class laser technology based on adaptive solitons. We released our first laser “Yb Adaptive Soliton Laser” in July 2025.

Current ultrafast femtosecond lasers face persistent challenges of dispersion and nonlinearity in pulse generation and transmission, which lead to severe pulse degradation, making it extremely challenging and costly to manage the resulting distortions in many applications. Solitons, in theory, can naturally balance the dispersion and nonlinear effects, but genuine solitons haven’t been realized yet, until now.

Through our research, we have discovered a new patent-pending method of mode-locking that creates genuine adaptive solitons that persist even during transmission. Our lasers built using this breakthrough technology offer ultrahigh performance and stability that you won’t find anywhere else.
